Raymond Lee Tucker

Mr. Raymond Lee Tucker, 62, of Skipwith, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Tucker was born in Mecklenburg County, VA March 13, 1951 to the late James and Gracie Tucker. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA. He attended Rocky Mount Baptist Church was an active member of The Community Support Program in South Hill, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Cherishing his memories are two sisters, Josephine Watts (Robert) of Chase City, VA and Martha Tucker of Skipwith, VA; three brothers, Harold Tucker (Yvonne) of Chase City, VA and Willie Tucker (Carolyn) and Albert Craddock (Mary) both of Skipwith, VA; one uncle, Joseph Dailey  of Skipwith, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Lee Tucker will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 4, 2013 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter, Sr., officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing for family and friends will be Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until  6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.  Service 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 4, 2013 Rocky Mount Baptist Church Skipwith, VA Interment Church Cemetery Public Viewing Sunday 12:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
