Raymond J. Sneed Sr.

Mr. Raymond J. Sneed Sr. of Stratford, CT and formerly of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006 at St. Vincent Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Mr. Sneed was born in Mecklenburg County, VA February 6, 1930 to the late Johnnie Sneed and Minnie Hicks. He was a member of St. Level Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA. He was an employee of Nick Di’Camillo and Sons Construction Co. until retiring in 1990. Cherishing his memories are two son, Clarence Bunch of Loganville, GA and Raymond Sneed Jr. (Belinda) of Bridgeport, CT; four daughters, Dora Parks (Farris) of Stratford, CT, Joanika Sneed, Dorothy Taylor, and Beverly Tooson (Dameon) all of Dayton, OH; 15 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; one brother, Milton Sneed of Bridgeport, CT; six sisters-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Raymond J. Sneed Sr. will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006 at the chapel of C.H. Harris Funeral Home, Clarksville, VA.
