Rachel Mae Bullock

Mrs. Rachel Mae Bullock 55, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at W.S. Hundley Annex, South Hill, VA. Mrs. Bullock was born in Mecklenburg County, VA Dec. 2, 1953 to the late J.C. and Madeline Boyd Roberts. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Greater Union Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Jonbil, Inc.   She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Boyd, two grandchildren, Jersey Roberts and Jordan Scott, two nephews, Bryant Roberts and Al Roberts, one niece, Tasha Roberts.  Cherishing her memories are her husband Edward Bullock, of Chase City, VA; three children, Michael Boyd (Veryl) of Lubbock, TX, Wanda M. Jones (Charles) of Chase City, VA and Tarrance Bullock of Chase City, VA, one step-daughter, Kimberly Roberts; two sisters Shirley Powell (Jessie) and Avon Roberts both of Chase City, VA; three brothers, Calvin Boyd, Cornell Roberts (Sherri) and Ronnie Roberts (Valerie) all of Chase City, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.  A graveside funeral service will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA with Rev. Linda Goode officiating. Viewing for Mrs. Bullock will be Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Giles-Harris Funeral Home, P.O.
