Price Lee Wilson

Deacon Price Lee Wilson, 92, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, October 13, 2013 at The Hundley Center, South Hill, VA. Mr. Wilson was born March 27, 1921 in Iredell County, NC to the late Leander (Bud) and Blanche G. Wilson.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Victoria, VA where he served as a Deacon and a Trustee.  He was a retired custodian and was a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Cowan Wilson; one daughter, Jennifer Mintora Wilson; six brothers, Robert Lee Stevenson, James Haston Wilson, Espie Coston Wilson, Elmer Bewill Wilson, Murray Sylvester Wilson and Louise Richard Wislon and two sisters, Ozell Wilson and Annie S. Cowan. Cherishing his memories are his beloved wife, Oneda W. Wilson of Chase City, VA; two daughters, Priscilla Copeland (Theodore) and Denise McCray (Joseph); three step-daughters, Mattie Simmons (Floyd), LaVonne Yontz and Bernadette Moreno; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Alberta Cornelius and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Price Lee Wilson will be conducted 1:00 P. M. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, Victoria, VA with Rev. William Moore III, officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M.
