Perry Richard Pulliam

Mr. Perry Richard Pulliam, 74, of New Jersey and formerly of Chase City, VA passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday June 20, 2021. Mr. Pulliam was born in Chase City, VA September 11, 1946 to the late Primrose and Geneva Grant Pulliam. He was a graduate of West End High School and a veteran of the US Army. Mr. Pulliam was a retiree of the Greystone Psychiatric Hospital. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pulliam was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Avery Noel Bexley, two brothers, Calvin Pulliam and Joe Pulliam. Mr. Pulliam leaves to cherish his memories Ms. Irma King; two daughters, Elissa N. Pulliam of Temple, GA and LaToya S. Bexley (Adrian) of Carrolton, GA; five grandchildren, Anyssa Troup, Ashely Holston, Alexandria Bexley, Hayden Bexley, Payden Bexley; two brothers, Charles Pulliam (Dorene) and Willie Pulliam (Beulah) of Chase City, VA; sister-in-law, Barbara Pulliam and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 28, 2021 at Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA with Rev. Dennis King, officiating. Public viewing for family and friends will be at 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
