Mr. Percy Evans Mosley, 46, of Kenbridge, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mr. Mosley was born in Halifax County, VA Dec. 5, 1962 to the late Charlie Allen Mosley Sr. and Annie Evans Mosley. He was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School and attended St. Paul’s College, Lawrenceville, VA. Mr. Mosley was a member of Jerusalem Temple United Holy Church, Boydton, VA. and was formerly employed by Barnes Manufacturing of Kenbridge, VA. In addition to his parents Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Little and one brother, Samuel Mosley. Cherishing his memories are three children, Dwayne Lamont Talley of South Hill, VA, Percy A. Mosley and Marcus Mosley both of Chase City, VA; four step-children, seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; four sisters, Hattie Burnett (Carl) of Richmond, VA, Beverly Martin (George) of Clarksville, VA, Audrey Oliver (Calvin) of Chase City, VA; six brothers, Henry Jeffress of Skipwith, VA, Leon Mosley of Richmond, VA, Charlie Mosley of Lynchburg, VA and Bruce Mosley (Mary Ann) of Chesapeake, VA; maternal grandmother, Louise Evans of Boydton, VA; devoted friend Lucille Stith of Kenbridge, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funerals services for Mr. Percy Evans Mosley will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Elder Charles D. Allen, officiating. Burial will follow in Jerusalem Temple UHC Cemetery, Boydton, VA. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St. Chase City, VA.
