Pearlene Mosley

Miss Pearlene Mosley, 68, of Red Oak entered eternal rest Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Chase City Health and Rehab Center, Chase City, VA. Miss. Mosley was born in Charlotte County February 3, 1946 to the late Marinda W. and Doc Junior Mosley.  She received her early education at Salem School in Red Oak and at an early age joined Salem Baptist Church.  Miss Mosley was formerly employed as a home health care aid for eleven years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Willie Watson.  Cherishing her memories are four children, Joanne Bronston (Jerry) of Buffalo Junction, Carolyn Martin (Calvin) of Richmond, and John Watson (Ellen) and Joe Watson both of Chase City; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six sisters, Gloria Edmonds (Andre) of Clarksville, Diane Mosley and Josephine Lambert (Charles) both of Red Oak, Rosa Mosley of Keysville, Evelyn Ramos (Humberto) of South Carolina and Geraldine Mosley of Washington, DC; two brothers, Robert Mosley (Martha) of Durham, NC and Elijah Mosley of Blackstone; special friend, Herman Elam; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Pearlene Mosley will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 31, 2014 at Salem Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA with Rev. Roger L. Allen, officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA. Services  2:00 P.M.
