Pearl Tucker Andrews

Ms. Pearl Tucker Andrews, 72, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Ms. Andrews was born in Saxe, VA on October 28, 1951 to the late Mary Smith Tucker and Louis Tucker. She attended the public schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church in Red Oak. Ms. Andrews was previously employed by Jonbil, Inc., Mecklenburg County in transportation, and was a retiree of Mecklenburg Correctional Center with twelve years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed yardwork, cooking and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Junior Tucker.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her son, Jeffrey Andrews of Norfolk, VA; two grandsons, Jehquan Andrews of Norfolk, VA and Jayson Andrews of Williamsburg, VA; devoted cousin, Oshal Tucker of Chase City, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Pearl Tucker Andrews will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Marvin Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery, Saxe, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
