Pauline Gracie Nelson

Mrs. Pauline Gracie Nelson, 93, of Bowie, Maryland, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Autumn Lake Health Care in Crofton, Maryland. Pauline was born to the late John and Gracie Lyons on April 18, 1929 in Skipwith, Virginia. She attended West End High School in Clarksville, Virginia. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age and joined Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Skipwith, Virginia. She was married to the late Walter Nelson for 35 years and to this union three children were born, Rosa, Doris and Charles. Years later she joined St. Luke Baptist Church where her husband was a member. She was a faithful member of the senior choir, Sunday school, Bible Study and morning Worship services. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Saint Luke Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA with Rev. Dennis King delivering the eulogy. Public viewing will be from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
