Otelia Baskerville Daniel

Mrs. Otelia Baskerville Daniel, 91, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, July 1, 2006 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Mrs. Daniel the eldest daughter of the late John and Marietta Baskerville was born in Boydton, VA October 21, 1914. She attended the Mecklenburg County Schools and was a member of Lands Chapel RZUA Church, Boydton, VA. Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her first husband Isaac Jones and her second husband John R. Daniel ; three children, Isaac Jr., Sterling, and Allen; one brother, Junior; three sisters, Anna, Mary and Martha also preceded her in death. Cherishing her memories are three sons, Charlie Jones and David Jones both of Richmond, VA and Johnny Jones of Oxford, NC; two daughters, Marietta Jones of Willingboro, NJ and Naomi Smith of East Stroudsburg, PA; four step children, Mattie Somerville of Buffalo Junction, VA, Jeanette Somerville of Clarksville, VA, Will Daniel of Walnut Cove, NC and James Daniel of Union Level, VA; 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, numerous step-grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Eastman of Newark, NJ; five daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Otelia Baskerville Daniel will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Lands Chapel RZUA Church, Boydton, VA with Rev. Julia Fields and Rev. Lovely Moore, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.  Arrangements are by C.H.
