Miss Olympia Spring Pamplin, 44, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Monday, December 11, 2017 at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA. Miss Pamplin was born in South Boston, VA October 29, 1973 to Ann Fuller Pamplin and the late Melvin Lee Pamplin. She was a 1991 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA and a member of Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. Olympia was previously employed by Hampco Apparel, Russell Stover Candies and most recently with United Steps. In addition to her father, Miss Pamplin was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Pamplin. Cherishing her memories are her children, Da’von, Dashawn and Jarbarri Pamplin all of Chase City, VA; two grandchildren; her mother, Ann Fuller Pamplin of Chase City, VA; brothers, Melvin and Christopher Pamplin of Chase City, VA; step-grandmother, Margaretta Fuller; four aunts, four uncles, devoted cousin, Steven Odemns; special friends, Stanley Jones, Marcus Duncan, Vincent Russell and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Elder Steven Odemns, officiating. Burial will follow in Silone Memorial Gardens, Chase City, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be Saturday from 10:00 Am until 6:00 PM. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
