Nettie Lyons Mitchell

Mrs. Nettie Lyons Mitchell, 75 of Skipwith, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Mecklenburg County, VA May 27, 1928 to the late Bessie Lyons. She was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA and a homemaker. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Mitchell  one sister, Elnora Wright and one brother, Herbert Lyons. Cherishng her memories is one daughter, Frances Mitchell of Skipwith, VA; one grandson Ra'ymon L. Mitchell of Skipwith, VA; two great-grandsons Dante and Tylik Mitchell; two great granddaughters, Destiny and Tionna Mitchell and a vast number of other loving realtives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Lyons Mitchell will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 25, 2007 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St. Chase City, VA.
