Nancy Louise Roberts

Miss Nancy Louise Roberts, 62, of Lacrosse, VA and formerly of the Rehoboth community entered eternal rest Friday, March 2, 2018 at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA. Miss Roberts was born in Charlotte County, VA May 28, 1955 to the late Langston Roberts and Carrie Oliver. She attended the schools of Lunenburg County, VA and was a member of Mount Mitchell Baptist Church, Drakes Branch, VA. Miss Roberts was a former employee of Harden Manufacturing, South Hill, VA. In addition to her parents, Miss Roberts was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Oliver. Cherishing her memories are a son, Shondel Roberts of Victoria, VA; daughters, Aisha Roberts of South Hill, VA and Kimberly Roberts of Chester, NY; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; brothers, Willie Oliver (Barbara) of Victoria, VA, Lester Bacon (Janie) of Harriman, NY and Hodges Bacon (Terri) of NJ; devoted friends, Sara Davis of South Hill, VA and Lillian Jones of Lawrenceville, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, March 9, 2018 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Sharon Baskerville delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Mount Mitchell Baptist Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch, VA. Public viewing will begin 10:00 AM Friday until service time. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
