Nancy Lee Roberts

Mrs. Nancy Lee Roberts, 64, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at CJW Chippenham Medical Center, Richmond, VA. Mrs. Roberts was born March 18, 1956 to the late Cleo and Lillie Bell Wright. She was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Skipwith, and a 1974 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School. She entered the work force at an early age, gaining employment at Russell Stover Candies in Clarksville. She worked there for many years before finding her true passion, working with children at Clarksville Elementary School. In her spare time, she loved spending time with family, cooking, and especially baking cakes, cookies, and all kinds of treats. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband Thomas “Tommy” Roberts, Sr.; a nephew, Shawn Harris, and a great-niece, Journee Davé. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving daughter, Dellena Anderson; devoted son, Thomas Roberts; stepdaughter, Charlena Somerville; four grandsons, Ty’Kavion Roberts, Devin Anderson, Jaivon Anderson and Amari Roberts; devoted, friend, Kirk Somerville; four sisters, Betty Smith (Floyd), Lily Harris, Mary Anne and Gloria Brown (Wilbur); brother, James Mosley, numerous nieces and nephews, five great-aunts, devoted friends, Princess Wilkerson, Dorothy Thorpe, Diane Smith, and Vicky Puryear, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A graveside service for Mrs. Nancy Lee Roberts will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 12, 2020 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery, Skipwith, VA with Rev. Dennis King officiating. Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
