Mr. Michael Jerome Stewart, 33, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Chase City, VA. Mr. Stewart was born in South Boston, VA on May 11, 1983 to Clarence Jefferson and Regina Stewart. He attended Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith, VA and his favorite pastime was fishing. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by three aunts. Cherishing his memories are his children, Arion and Arielle Hilliard of South Boston, VA and Ebony Liggon of Chase City, VA; his parents, Clarence Jefferson and Regina Stewart both of Clarksville, VA; a father-figure, Donald Burwell; one sister, Kendra Burwell of Buffalo Junction, VA; three brothers, D. J. Burwell of Japan, Antonio Stewart of Buffalo Junction, VA and Damian Stewart of Clarksville, VA; four aunts; three uncles; his girlfriend, Telita Liggon; devoted friends, Freddie Small, Darnell Jefferson and Quan Terry and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Michael Jerome Stewart will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Bishop Marcus Stewart, officiating. Interment will be private. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
