Michael Antoin Gordon

Mr. Michael “Mike” Antoin Gordon, 27, of Richmond, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, October 4, 2015 at VCU Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA. Mr. Gordon was born in Richmond, VA January 15, 1988 to Lindsey and Trina Gordon Pettus.  He was a 2006 graduate of Bluestone High School, Skipwith, VA, furthering his education at Virginia State University, Petersburg, VA, graduating with a BA in Criminal Justice.  Mr. Gordon attended New Kingdom Christian Ministries in Richmond, VA was a police officer with Virginia State University Department of Police and Public Safety. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Alice Piercy and Doris Pettus and his grandfather, Thomas Drake Puryear. He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted companion, Dwayne Carter, loving parents, Lindsey and Trina Gordon Pettus; one brother, Jonathan Gordon (Quardeisha); five sisters, Ebony and Shaniqua Gordon, LeTesha Crawley (Terrance) and Dominique and Shaquira Dailey; grandmother, Irene Gordon; grandfather, James Pettus; eight aunts, Tenesha (Stevie), Gina, Carletta (Eugene), Cassandra, Tiesha, Lynette, Myah and Lisa; two uncles, Trenton (Angie) and Quincy (Teresa); four nieces; six nephews; devoted friends, Antoine Williams, Julia Greene, Tiffany Whitehead, Lakeisha Barnes and Brian Saunders  and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Michael Antoin Gordon will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 9, 2015 at Concord Baptist Church, Chase City with Rev. Leonidas Young, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M.
