Michael Andrew Newton

Mr. Michael Andrew Newton, 67, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, June 8, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Newton was born in Buffalo Junction, VA on May 31, 1953 to the late James and Lottie Frances Hall Newton. At an early age, he joined Cherry Hill Baptist Church in Buffalo Junction, VA, and was a 1971 graduate of Bluestone High School in Skipwith. Mr. Newton joined the workforce at an early age, he was previously employed at Burlington Industries, Bowman’s Garage, Inc., and Basic Sportswear. He was a dedicated and hard worker who always strived to better himself and those around him. Cherishing his memories are his son, Quincy Newton of Buffalo Junction, VA; his granddaughter, Jasmine, the love of his life; brothers, Melton Newton of Clarksville, VA and Marvis Newton of Upper Marlboro, MD; sister, Winnie McQueen (Vester) of Upper Marlboro, MD; nephews, Kevin Newton (Kiesett) of Gambrills, MD, Adrian McQueen (Kalesh) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Kenneth Newton of Mebane, NC; nieces, Michelle Newton of Laurel, MD and Ashley McQueen of San Jose, CA; uncle, Cleo Chandler (Dessie) of Roxboro, NC; aunts, Doris Ann Newton (Joe) and Dorothy Bell Terry (Marion) of Newark, NJ; Bernetha Mullins (Robert) of Clarksville, VA, Denise Hall of Hillside, NJ and Ethel Hall of Virgilina, VA; special friend, Joyce Pettaway; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Michael Andrew Newton will be private. Private interment will follow.
