Mary Gregory Crute

Mrs. Mary Gregory Crute, 91, of West Orange, NJ and formerly of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Mrs. Crute was born in Boydton, VA March 30, 1928 to the late Milton Floyd and Mary Duncan Gregory. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Crute; five sisters, Helen Gregory Morse, Margaret Binford, Elizabeth Jones, Hazel Barnes, and Florence Gregory Smith; two brothers, Dalton Gregory and Nelson Lee Gregory. Cherishing her memory is a son, Keith A. Crute of West Orange, NJ, one brother, Joe Louis Gregory of East Orange, NJ; two sisters, Virginia Blalock (Clarence) of Boydton, VA and Shirley Goodman of Asheville, NC, numerous nieces and nephews, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A public viewing will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at C.H. Harris Funeral Home followed by a 12:00 Noon Committal Service at the Gregory Family Cemetery located at 21486 Highway 58, Boydton, VA. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
