Mary Ann Osborne Gregory

Mrs. Mary Ann Osborne Gregory, 57, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 31, 2022.

Mrs. Gregory was born in Skipwith, VA on January 21, 1965 to Mary Alice Osborne and the late Billy Osborne, Sr. She attended Mecklenburg County Schools, and furthered her education at Blue Ridge Job Corps where she earned a certificate as a Nursing Assistant. She was a faithful member of the Open Door Mission Church in Boydton, VA. You could always find her sharing the Gospel in her music and preparing her “Power Points” for Sunday service.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Osborne; maternal grandparents, Frank and Willie Bell Hicks, and paternal grandparents, Frank and Vernie Mae Osborne.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 25 years, SSgt Henry T. Gregory of Chase City, VA; four daughters, LaTanya Osborne, Lavonna Osborne of Newport News, VA, Lasherre’ Osborne of Pennsylvania, PA and Iesha Hicks-Gregory of Chase City; son, Christopher Hicks-Gregory of Chase City, VA; two grandchildren, Diaviahn “Lucy” Hayes, and Giovonni “Gio” Wertz; her mother, Mary Alice Osborne of South Hill, VA; two brothers, James Osborne of Clarksville, and Billy Osborne, Jr. (Glenda) of Suffolk, VA; two sisters, Linda Roberts of South Hill, VA and Donna Osborne Hargrove (John) of Boydton, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Osborne Gregory will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Pastor Shirley G. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Open Door Mission Guardian Care Cemetery, Boydton, VA. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
