Martha Lee Pamplin

Mrs. Martha Lee Stokes Connelly-Pamplin, 102, of Victoria, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 2, 2024 in Grayson, GA.

Mrs. Pamplin was born December 29, 1921 in Meherrin, VA to the late Samuel and Martha Stokes and was raised by her aunt, Helen Connelly. At an early age, she accepted Christ, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She attended school in North Carolina and later relocated to New York. On December 12, 1948, she married the late Robert L. Pamplin, Sr., and this union was blessed with seven children. Mrs. Pamplin was a beloved homemaker who loved cooking, baking, and sewing.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Pamplin was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Ellen and Robert (Tina) of Virginia, Mildred (Michael) and Shula (Andy) of Georgia, John (Cora) of Texas and Doris (Kindel) of New York, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Lee Connelly-Pamplin will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church, Victoria, VA with Rev. Gwen Starr officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will begin on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at the church.
