Martha D. Terry

Mrs. Martha D. Terry, 94, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Monday, July 25, 2011 at Meadowview Terrace, Clarksville, VA. Mrs. Terry was born in Mecklenburg County, VA April 2, 1917 to the late David and Mary Daniel Terry, She was a member of Antioch United Christian Church and was a retired farmer. Mrs. Terry was preceded in death by her husband, William "Buck" Terry, two sons, James Daniel and Ralph Terry; two daughters, Mary E. Small and Vierona T. Bullock; two brothers, Sherlock H. Daniel and James "Bo" Terry; two sisters, Mattie Lee Daniel and Emma Frances Hargrove. Cherishing her memories are one son, Leonard Terry (Tryna Jean) of Clarksville, VA; 17  grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; two daughters-in- law, Tempie Daniel of Buffalo Junction, VA and Mary L. Terry of Clarksville, VA; two sister-in- law; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Martha D. Terry will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Antioch United Church of Christ, Townsville, NC with Rev. Tina Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Viewing will begin Thursday at 10:00 A.M. until service time. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
