Martha Ann Watson

Miss Martha Ann Watson, 70, of Chesterfield, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center, Midlothian, VA. Miss Watson was born October 15, 1947 in Lunenburg County, VA to the late Linwood and Bertha Crawley Watson. She was a graduate of Central High School, and furthered her education at MCV/VCU School of Nursing. Miss Watson was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Keysville, VA and a retired CNA at Memorial Regional Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lynwood Watson. Cherishing her memories are her daughter, Stephanie Watson Stanley (Albert) of Chester, VA; one brother, Louis R. Watson of Landover, MD; one sister-in-law, Earlene B. Watson of Victoria, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Martha Ann Watson will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Lyle Morton officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Keysville, VA. Public viewing will begin on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
