Margaret Long Wims

Ms. Margaret Long Wims, 52, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at her residence. Ms. Wims was born in South Hill, VA October 3, 1959 to the late Mayo and Claudia Thomas Long.  She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA, was a graduate of National Business College, Roanoke VA and a member of Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. She was a former bank teller for Central Fidelity Bank. In addition to her parents, Ms. Wims was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Long. Cherishing her memories are three sisters, Margarette Long, Karen Long and Caroline Long all of Chase City, VA; two brothers, Samuel Lomg (Erinetta) of White Plains, NY and Calvin Long (Emma) of Chase City, VA; two nephews, three nieces, one great-nephew, one great-niece and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
