Margaret Keene White

Mrs. Margaret Keene White, affectionately know as "Baby Hope" , 68, of Skipwith, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Chase City Health and Rehabilitation, Chase City, VA. Mrs. White was born in Skipwith, VA November 8, 1946 to the late Floyd Jesse and Fannie Louise Smith Keene. She attended West End High School, Skipwith, VA and was a member of Bluestone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. She was formerly employed by Russell Stover Candies and Burlington Industries, Clarksville, VA. Mrs. White was a retired counselor at Southside Outreach Detention Center, South Boston, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene White and a brother, Floyd Keene Jr. Cherishing her memories are one son, Arnold White of Skipwith, VA; four sisters, Barbara Smithson (James) of Chase City, VA, a niece raised as a sister ,Vanessa Haskins (Keith) of Chase City, VA, Ruth Pride (Tim) of Saxe, VA and Brenda Downey (Arthur) of Clarksville, VA; one brother, Jesse Keene (LaVerne) of Richmond, VA; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Margaret Keene White will be conducted 12:00 Noon Monday, February 16, 2015 at Bluestone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Lawrence T. Wilkerson, Officiating.
