Lucy Juanita Broadnax

Miss Lucy Juanita Broadnax, 74, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, VA. Miss Broadnax was born in Chase City, VA on May 17, 1946 to the late Walter and Florence Mae Robertson Broadnax. Juanita, as she was known by family and friends, was a 1964 graduate of West End High School. She lived her entire life in Chase City, and was well known in the community. In addition to her parents, Miss Broadnax was preceded in death by a devoted cousin, Alice Robertson Young. She is survived by several cousins: Frances Robertson Lee of Philadelphia, PA, Robert Robertson, Cincinnati, OH, Deborah Robertson Tisdale, Bridgeport, CT, and JoAnne Robertson, Richmond, VA. She is also survived by numerous caring and concerned neighbors and friends. As per her wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
