Louis Junior Tucker

Mr. Louis Junior Tucker, 59, of Chase City, VA entered eternal slumber Monday, April 1, 2019 at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA. Mr. Tucker began his journey through life April 8, 1959 in Saxe, VA; born to the parentage of the late Louis Tucker and Mary Smith Tucker. He was a 1978 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, and a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA. He was formerly employed by J. Lawson Jones Construction, Burlington Industries, Smithfield Foods, Inc., and later Chase City Health and Rehab. Cherished memories shall forever remain in the hearts of his mother, Mary Tucker of Chase City, VA; his sister, Pearl T. Andrews of Chase City, VA; aunt, Bea Craighead of Drakes Branch, VA; nephew Jeffrey Andrews of Newport News, VA; two great-nephews, Jayson Andrews of Greensburg, PA and Jehquan Andrews of Virginia Beach, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Louis Junior Tucker will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA with Rev. John L. Craighead officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery, Saxe, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
