Lorraine Rose Hayes

Mrs. Lorraine Rose Peretti Hayes, 68 of Bracey, VA entered eternal rest Friday, March 18, 2016 at VCU/Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mrs. Hayes was born in Queens, NY January 25, 1948 to the late Aldo and Edith Hinklein Peretti. She attended Samuel Huntington High School in Queens and was a member of Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. She was a former employee of Denny’s in South Hill, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Hayes and two sisters, Janet Peretti and Diane Peretti. Cherishing her memories are her daughter, Tonia Hayes Wilkins of Bracey, VA; two grandchildren, Tamasia Cooke and Nathanael Hayes both of Bracey, VA; one sister, Donna Peretti of Jonesborough, TN; mother-in-law, Albertha Hayes of Chase City, VA; four sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Lorraine Rose Peretti Hayes will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. E. Douglas Reams, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.  Servies 2:00 P.M.
