Linda Ann Toombs Snead

Mrs. Linda Ann Toombs Snead, 59, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Keysville, VA. Mrs. Snead was born in Chase City, VA July 14, 1958 to the late James Hayes and Jurline Tucker Toombs. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Silone Baptist Church, Chase City. Mrs. Snead was formerly employed by Public Partnerships, LLC of Richmond, VA for twelve years as a Certified Nurse Aide. She is known in the community for her employment at the former EZ Shop of Chase City, VA for seventeen years as a cashier. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snead was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Snead III; one sister, Doris Brooks; one nephew, Ronnie Toombs, and one niece, Rosa Toombs. She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Felicia Snead (Andre) of South Boston, VA; one son, Christopher Snead of Chase City, VA; one step-son, Devon Dunaway (Angela) of Birmingham, AL ; one step-daughter, Tanisha Fuller (Michael) of Chase City, VA; three grandchildren, Queyarri, Queyaejsha, and Qeierra Syder all of South Boston, VA; four sisters-in-law, Gwen Vaughan (Gary) and Sheena Price of Detroit, MI, Sharon Smith (Larry) of Navarre, FL, and Yvette Dunkley (Warren) of South Boston, VA; one brother-in-law, Ronnie Snead (Brenda) of South Boston, VA; two great-nieces, Tiffany and Tricia Terry both of South Boston, VA; one great-uncle, Worther Keene (Pattie) of Chase City, VA; devoted friends, Joyce Oliver, Cynthia Bullock, Susie and Jasmine Townes all of Chase City, VA and Jerry Jackson of Skipwith, VA, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Ann Toombs Snead will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Melvin J. Palmer officiating. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
