Lillie C. Pulliam

Mrs. Lillie Clark Pulliam, 81, of Saxe, VA entered eternal rest Friday, Dec. 22, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Pulliam was born in Charlotte County, VA Feb. 14, 1925 to the late Buck and Jannie Ann McCargo Clark. Mrs. Pulliam was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Saxe, VA where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Missionary Circle. She was married to John Pulliam who preceded her in death. Cherishing her memories are four daughters, Mrs. Creola Hundley (James) of Kalamazoo. MI, Mrs. Barbara Whitehead (Leroy) of Saxe, VA, Mrs. Ozelia Olushola (Steve) of Danville, VA and Mrs. Johnette Staten (Joseph) of Saxe, VA; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Allen of Saxe, VA; one brother, Mr. John Elliott Jr. (Penny) of Danville, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Clark Pulliam will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 at Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Saxe, VA with Dr. James E. Scott, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St. Chase City, VA.
