Lillie Bell Bouldin

Mrs. Lillie Bell Bouldin, 95, of Drakes Branch, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, VA.

Mrs. Bouldin was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on July 14, 1928, the youngest of thirteen children, to the late William and Carrie Worsham. She received her education in the Pittsylvania County public schools, and was a lifetime member of Mt. Mitchell Baptist Church. Mrs. Bouldin was a homemaker who loved to cook and plant flowers. She also loved singing and playing the piano.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Bouldin; grandson, Sherman Kwame Bouldin, and her twelve siblings.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her son, Sherman Preston Bouldin; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Bell Bouldin will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Mt. Mitchell Baptist Church, Drakes Branch, VA with Rev. Fran Jackson, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will begin on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M.
