Lillian Ware

Mrs. Lillian Tarry Ware, 94, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, October 27, 2011 in South Boston, VA. Mrs. Ware was born in Clarksville, VA March 17, 1917 to the late Harvey and Kate Tarry. Mrs. Ware graduated from West End High School as valedictorian of the first graduating class in 1939. She moved to Bayside New York and joined Community Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Ware, a brother, Napoleon Tarry and a sister, Laura Tarry Pridgen. Cherishing her memories are one sister, Katherine Tarry Venable of Clarksville, VA; two nieces, two nephews and a host of great nephews and nieces and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Tarry Ware will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 4, 2011 at Mount Ararat Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Raymond Roberts, officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill, VA. Viewing for Mrs. Ware will begin 11:00 A.M. Friday at Mount Ararat Baptist Church. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
