Ms. Lillian E. Keene, 91, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in Richmond, VA.
Ms. Keene was born in Chase City, VA on April 13, 1931 to the late Matthew and Katie Gayles. She was preceded in death by four children, Robert Keene, Tony Keene, Michael Keene and Diane Bullock; one grandson, Robert Cornelius Jarrett, and all twelve siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memories two children, Joan Burton and Cynthia Keene both of Richmond, VA; eleven grandchildren; Nescia Meusa (Joel) of Carteret, NJ, Teshia Robinson (Dane), Rozitta Richardson (Jamar), Raijon Burton (Chelsea) and DaVon Burton all of Richmond, VA, Brien Bullock (KeShia) and Orlando Bullock both of Greensboro, NC, and Venus Keene, Tywan Keene, David Coles and Cyril Coles all of Maryland; sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two Godchildren, Debbie Tisdale and Joanne Robertson; son-in-law, Edward Bullock of Skipwith, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
Funeral services for Ms. Lillian E. Keene will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Marvin Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
