Lessie Thomas Jenkins

Mr. Lessie Thomas Jenkins, 74, of Clarksville, VA peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Clarksville Health and Rehab.

Mr. Jenkins, affectionately known as “Tooler”, was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on January 20, 1948 to the late Albert and Mattie Jenkins. He attended West End High School, and was formerly employed with Jones Construction for over 30 years. Prior to his health diagnosis, he enjoyed dancing and listening to music. He was appreciative for anything you did for him; no

matter how big or how small, he was sure to say, “Thank You”. He enjoyed apple pie, and greeting you with a smile at Uppy’s.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson, Stanley Harris, Willie Jefferson, and a sister, Annie Gooch.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters, Geneva Hickman and Delories Williams (Leroy), and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
