Lessie Leon Walden

Mr. Lessie Leon Walden, 83, of Washington, DC and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, April 22, 2012. Mr. Walden was born in Rich Square, NC October 28, 1928. He was preceded in death by his wife Deloris E. Walden; and one daughter Yvonne Daniel. Cherishing his memories are seven children Cassandra Daniels, Renita, Deidre, Leon, Jr., Larry Leon, Reginald and Johnny Walden; 29 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; four sisters, four brothers, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Lessie Leon Walden will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Walden Family Cemetery, Chase City, VA. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
