Leona Royster

Miss. Leona Royster, 93 of South Boston, VA and formerly of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Monday, March 17, 2008 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Miss Royster was born in Mecklenburg County, VA February 22, 1921 to the late Squire Babe and Cora Johnson Royster. She attended Mecklenburg County Schools, was baptized at an early age and remained a faithful member of St. John Baptist Church until her health began to fail. Cherishing her memories are two sisters, Mary C. Franklin and Zulene Adams both of Washington, DC; one brother, Edward Royster of Washington, DC and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Leona Royster will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 24, 2008 at St. John Baptist Church, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Charles Sands, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at St. John Baptist Church Monday form 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Arrangements are by C.H.
