Lena Bailey Session

Mrs. Lena Bailey Britton Session, 103, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Monday, May 20, 2013 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Mrs. Session was born in Halifax County, March 30, 1910 to the late Albert Green and Betty Britton. She attended the schools of Halifax County, VA and was a member of Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Session was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Session, two children, Elmira Peggy Session and Willie Session, Jr.; four brothers and two sisters. Cherishing her memories are one son, Richard Session of Philadelphia, PA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one nephew, Harvey Britton of Chase City, VA; many devoted great-nieces and great-nephews; devoted friends, Calvin and Audrey Oliver of Chase City, VA and a vast number of caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Bailey Britton Session will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Melvin J. Palmer, officiating. Burial will follow in Silone Memorial Garden, Chase City, VA. Viewing for family and friend will Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA. Services 2:00 P.M.
