Ms. Leeolia Staten Swann, 70 of Richmond, VA entered eternal rest Monday, October 2, 2006 in Richmond, VA.Ms. Swann was born in Charlotte County, VA Dec. 21, 1935 to the late Charlie and Bessie Thomas Staten. She attended the Charlotte County Schools and was a member of First Baptist Church, Wylliesburg, VA. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Bernice McFail, Pamela Nivens and Yolanda Claiborne, and two brothers Dwight and Willie Staten She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Archie Nivens Jr. of Richmond, VA and William McFail of Oxford, NC; two daughters, Lenora Creasy of Powhatan, VA and Madeline Gregory of Prince George, VA; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one sister, Lorene Staten of Philadelphia, PA; one sister-in-law, Florence Staten; two daughters-in-law, Sheila Cobbs and Joyce McFail; two sons-in-law, Lawrence Gregory and Dwayne Creasy Sr., devoted cousin Hattie Staten and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.Funeral services for Ms. Leeolia Staten Swann will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 7, 2006 at First Baptist Church, Wylliesburg, VA with Rev. Opie Terrell, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
