Laura Williams Davis Tisdale

Mrs. Laura Williams Davis Tisdale, 69, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, January 23, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Tisdale was born in Norlina, NC August 24, 1950 to the late John and Bettie Hunter Williams. She was a graduate of Norlina High School and a member of Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. She was a beautician at Laura’s Beauty Salon, Lacrosse, VA. In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her brothers, James Williams, Walter Williams, Ernest Williams, John Williams, Jr. and Thomas Williams; and sisters, Bernice Williams, Lucille Williams and Daisy Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Clifton L. Tisdale of Chase City, VA; a son, Michael Davis (Yvonne) of Springhill, TN; a grandchild, Tiara Davis; brothers, Harvey Williams and Randolph Williams of San Antonio, TX, Charles Williams of Newport News, VA, Linward Williams of Silver Spring, MD and Richard Williams of Richmond, VA; sisters, Dorothy Russell of Norlina, NC, Zelma Smith of Durham, NC, Helen Williams of Henderson, NC and Gwendolyn Williams of Ft. Washington, MD; a special nephew, Justin Williams; four sisters-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A graveside memorial service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 31, 2020 at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA with Rev. Raleigh Bagley III, officiating. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
