Larry Edward Hayes, Jr.

Mr. Larry Edward Hayes, Jr., affectionately known as “Pugga”, 41, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Hayes was born December 1, 1976 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston to Larry Edward, Sr. and Eura Newton Hayes. He was a 1996 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith and a member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church, Buffalo Junction. His favorite pastimes included listening to music, drag racing, restoring and trading cars, and spending time with his family. Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jimmie and Nannie Hutcherson Newton; paternal great-grandmother, Hattie Tillerson; and two aunts, Joyce Lorraine Newton Gooch and Lorraine Atkinson. He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Leah Hayes and Corban Oliver-Hayes both of Clarksville, VA; his parents, Larry Edward, Sr. and Eura Newton Hayes of Clarksville, VA; one great-aunt, Mable Hutcherson Tillerson, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service for Mr. Larry Edward Hayes, Jr. will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction with Rev. Linda Thornton officiating. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
