Lardeva Carolyn Cameron

Mrs. Lardeva Carolyn Cameron, 79, of Chase City, VA peacefully entered eternal rest Friday, July 10, 2020 at Chase City Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Cameron was born in Mecklenburg county, VA June 27, 1941 to the parentage of Theotris and Hattie Freeman Wood. She was a 1960 graduate of West End High School, and at an early age joined Concord Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by M & B Hat Weave. In Lardeva’s spare time she enjoyed cooking, music and dancing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Cameron; two brothers, Gene and Harry; and three sisters, Rosa Mosley, Theresa Harris and Deborah Robertson. Treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of her brother, Larry Wood of Newport News, VA; sisters, Janice Wood of Richmond, VA and Diana Wood of Chase City, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
