Kristina Marie Ward

Miss Kristina Marie Ward, 38, of Greensboro, NC entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Cone Health Wesley Long Hospital, Greensboro, NC.

Miss Ward was born in Halifax County, VA on February 15, 1985 to the late Alfred L., Sr. and Lauretta D. Ward. At an early age, she joined First Baptist Church in Wylliesburg, VA. Miss Ward was a 2003 graduate of Randolph Henry High School in Charlotte Court House, and furthered her education at Longwood University in Farmville where she was initiated into the Pi Mu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She was employed by American Public University System and enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory three brothers, Alfred Leon Ward, Jr. of Skipwith, VA, Steven Ward (Cynthia) of Nelson, VA and Christopher Ward (Lashawn) of Nathalie, VA; one sister, Angela Davis (Lamont) of Saxe, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Miss Kristina Marie Ward will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch , VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
