Mr. Kevin Lee Smith, 43, of Henderson, NC entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC. Mr. Smith, affectionately known as “Charlie Brown”, was born on February 13, 1977 in South Boston, VA to Bobby M. and Linda Smith. He was educated in the Mecklenburg County, VA school system, and was baptized at an early age at Cherry Hill Baptist Church. He loved spending time with family, fishing, riding his 4-Wheeler, doing mechanic work and installation of music. Brown was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He leaves to cherish his precious memories five sons, Taneil Smith, Raleigh, NC, Darius Gregory, Clarksville, VA, Kadereon and Kadeveon Smith, Henderson, NC, and Keveon Mosley, Richmond, VA; four daughters, Keyasia Terry, Henderson, NC, Taia Mosley, Clover, VA, Janiah Smith, Richmond, VA, and Aryonna Mangum, Clarksville, VA; father, Bobby M. (Harold) Smith (Gwen), Henderson, NC; mother, Linda S. Roberts (Donald) Clarksville, VA; two brothers, Harold Smith and Daryl Smith both of Philadelphia, PA; five sisters, Jacqueline Smith, Debbie Smith, Henderson, NC, Krystal Mosley, Clarksville, VA, Denise Walker (Leon), Henderson, NC and Felicia Smith, Raleigh, NC, and a vast number of loving relatives and caring friends too numerous too name. Graveside services for Mr. Kevin Lee Smith will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery, Skipwith, VA with Elder Kenyatta Evans officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a mask will be required for all viewings and services.
