Kenneth William Mack, Sr.

Mr. William Kenneth Mack, Sr., 54, of Chase City, VA passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA.

Mr. Mack was born in Yonkers, NY on October 10, 1968 to Dorothy Mack. He was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School in Westchester, NY, and was a member of Jesus Church of Faith in Chase City, VA. Mr. Mack was formerly employed at Boyd’s Rest Home, Inc. in Macon, NC.

Mr. Mack was preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle Parris, and two sisters, Hazel Fountain and Margaret Adams.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Miriam D. Parris Mack of Chase City, VA; two sons, Kenneth Mack (Precious) of Chase City, VA and Derrick Parris of Durham, NC; three daughters, Jahzeia Parris and Neshon Powell (Phillip) both of Durham, NC and Kelly Rogers (Anthony) of Youngsville, NC; Godson, Raymond Clayton of Mount Vernon, NY; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Joseph Mack (Sarah) of Corpus Cristi, TX, Derrick Normon of Greensboro, NC, Kevin Williams of Georgia and Olin Jackson of Fayetteville, NC; three sisters, Dawn Albonese, Francine Montgomery and Robin Williams all of New York, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mr. William Kenneth Mack, Sr. will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. James W. Lester officiating. Burial will be private. Public viewing will begin on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:45 P.M.
