Ms. Kendalle Ogburn Tucker, 58, of Dumfries, VA and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, April 24, 2020 at her residence. Ms. Tucker was born in Chase City, VA on January 1, 1962 to the late Edward and Lucille Oliver Ogburn. She received her education in the Mecklenburg County Public Schools, and at an early age joined Lone Oak Baptist Church in Chase City. She was employed by the United States Postal Service in Merrifield, VA, and enjoyed bowling, soap operas, and watching “them Cowboys”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James E. Ogburn. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Abraham Ogburn of Dumfries, VA; one sister, Elzina Booker of Alexandria, VA; four brothers, Harvey E. Jenkins, Jr. (Marie) of Skipwith, VA, Bennie Jenkins of Dumfries, VA, Luellen Ogburn (Gloria) and Vincent Ogburn of Chase City, VA; a devoted aunt, Hattie Liggon of Richmond, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Due to the mandates from Governor Ralph Northam, a private graveside service was conducted 2:00 PM Friday, April 29, 2020 at Lone Oak Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Elder Steven Odemns delivering the eulogy. Public viewing was held on Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
