Kelvin Anthony South

Mr. Kelvin Anthony South (Sugarman), 57, of La Crosse, VA and formerly of Skipwith, VA slipped into eternal slumber Sunday, March 31, 2019. Kelvin began his journey through life on April 27, 1961. He was the son of Lawrence W. South and the late Mildred Harris South. He attended Mount Healthy High School in Cincinnati, Oh. At an early age he was baptized, and became a member of New Light Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA. Kelvin was a former employee of Jonbil, Inc. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his father, Lawrence W. South of Cincinnati, OH; his sister, Francine South Askew of Skipwith, VA; one nephew, Michael South (Trakecha) of Nelson, VA; two great-nephews, one great-niece; three uncles, Willie Marshall Harris (Flora) and Leon Harris (Janice) all of Skipwith, VA, and Miller Jones; three aunts, Loretta Harris of Clarksville, VA, Weigelia Brown and Betty South both of Cincinnati, OH, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A graveside service for Mr. Kelvin Anthony South will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the Harris Family Cemetery, Skipwith, VA with Rev. James W. Lester officiating. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
