Keith Jerome Wardrick

Mr. Keith Jerome Wardrick, 57, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at VCU/MCV Hospital, Richmond, VA. Mr. Wardrick was born in Mecklenburg County, VA May 28, 1952 to the late Elbert and Louise Perry Wardrick. Keith attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. He was employed by Carter Construction of Boydton, VA for over 30 years. Keith enjoyed hunting and fishing. Cherishing his memories are three children, Valerie Wardrick and Keith Smith of Bear Creek, NC and Katherine Smith of Charlotte, NC; one grandson, Kamari Smith; four sisters, Anna Deans (Bobby) of Nashville, NC, Sylvia Wardrick of Savannah, GA, Priscilla Poles (Michael) of Richmond, VA and Esther Veronica Wardrick of South Hill, VA; four brothers, Leon Wardrick of Boydton, VA, Clyde Wardrick and Carlton Wadrick (Deborah) of Lacrosse, VA and Charles Wardrick of Bremerton, WA; a devoted ex-wife, Regina Smith of Bear Creek, NC and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Keith Jerome Wardrick will be conducted 2:30 P.M. Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Tyrone Pulliam, officiating. Burial will follow in Easter’s Cemetery, Chase City, VA. Viewing for Mr. Wardrick will begin Sunday at 12:00 Noon. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 until service time.  Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
