Keisha Latonia Downs

Miss Keisha Latonia Downs, 30, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, May 6, 2010 at VCU/MCV Hospitals, Richmond, VA. Miss Downs was born in Philadelphia, PA January 29, 1980 to Emanuel T. Downs Sr. and Ernestine Harvey. She was a 1998 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA and attended Saint Paul’s College, Lawrenceville, VA. At an early age she was baptized and joined New Liberty Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA, while living in Richmond, she worshipped with Saint Paul’s Baptist Church. Cherishing her memories are her parents, Emanuel Timothy Downs Sr. of Lansdowne, PA and Ernestine Fielder of South Hill, VA; a very devoted friend, Adrienne Smith of Richmond, VA; four sisters, Baseema Hassen (Khemaies) of Silver Spring, MD, Jamila Downs of Norfolk, VA,  Yachicka Darden of Clarksville, VA, Monique Stewart of Danville, VA; three brothers, Emanuel Timothy Downs, Jr. of Richmond, VA, Dominico Oliver of South Hill, VA and Sherman Eaddy of Echuinda, CA;  grandparents, Marie Green of Clarksville, VA and Willie Green of Richmond, VA and Robert Harvey Sr. of Baltimore, MD; seven aunts, Jackie Downs, Linda Stewart, Melina Brooks and Thelma Downs all of Philadelphia, PA, Margaret Green-Oumhand and Maxine Fuller both of Atlanta, GA and Willie Ruth Green-Ferguson (Allen) of Richmond, VA; four uncles, Sherwood Green of Atlanta, GA, Alexander Harvey of Clarksville, VA, Jerry Lee Harvey of Leesburg, VA and Melvin Downs of Philadelphia, PA; devoted friends Shealtiyah Naftali, Morgan Sanpos and Laurie Clay and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Keisha Latonia Downs will be conducted 3:00 P.M .Sunday, May 9, 2010 at New Liberty Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Mack Talley, officiating and Minister Bernard Duncan delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
