Junne Ashley Ponton

Mr. Junne Ashley Ponton (Lucky) 48, of South Hill, VA formerly of Jackson, NC entered eternal rest Sunday, July 19, 2009 at VCU/MCV Hospital Richmond, VA.  Mr. Ponton was born in Washington, DC Sept. 30, 1960, and raised in Jackson, NC. He attended the schools of North Hampton County, NC. He was a former employee of Woodbridge State School, Rahway, NJ. Mr. Ponton favorite past time was fishing. Cherishing his memories are a very devoted friend, Renee Porter of South Hill, VA; three children, Marquis Porter and Lamark Porter both of South Hill, VA and Tameika Lassitor-Taylor (Darnell) of Garysburg, NC and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
