Joseph (Joe Buck) Logan

Mr. Joseph Logan, Jr. “Joe Buck”, 75, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, July 21, 2012 at VCU/MCV Hospital, Richmond, VA. Mr. Logan was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on June 2, 1937 to the late Joe Logan, Sr. and Elizabeth Thomas Logan. He was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Mason, Walter, Sr. and David Logan; two sisters, Virginia Richardson and Gladys Logan. Cherishing his memories are one daughter, Geraldine Logan of New Jersey; eight grandchildren; he was a second father to, Ernestine, Adele and Betty of Boydton, Dorothy Greene (Rodney) and James Logan (Gracie); one brother, William Logan of Maryland; two sisters, Louise Logan of Maryland,  Mary Logan of Chase City, Virginia; one aunt, Rose Lee Duncan of Boydton, VA; one uncle, James Thomas of Bellevue, Nebraska; one sister-in-law, Alice Logan of Boydton; one brother-in-law, Clyde Richardson, Sr. of North Carolina and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Logan, Jr. will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the chapel of C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Tyrone Pulliam, officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery Boydton, VA. Viewing for Mr. Logan will be Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
