Johnie Baptist Carrington

Mr. Johnie B. Carrington,78, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mr. Carrington was born in Mecklenburg County, VA February 7, 1929 to the late Cullen and Janie Brooks Carrington. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA and was retired from Morgan Lumber Co. He was preceded in death by one son Calvin R. Carrington. Cherishing his memories is his wife Gracie E. Carrington of Clarksville, VA, three daughters, Gloria J. Ogburn (Luellen) of Chase City, VA, Deborah L. Lyons (Willie) and Annie D. Carrington of Clarksville, VA, seven grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M.
